As part of the Blaenau Gwent Environmental Awards 2011 campaign, Take Two were at the launch of the Valleys Spring Clean event in conjunction with Keep Wales Tidy. Lindsay Sims, Environmental Officer organised the event in Winchestown, Nantyglo alongside local community groups and individuals to clean up the area and promote the environment. Local MP Nick Smith also attended the event and showed his support for activities organised by Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council.
